“Srbadija” is an entertaining and illuminating journal which was published in Vienna from 1874 to 1887 twice a month. It was established by Jovan Stefanovic Vilovski, Srecko Majer was the editor-in-chief, Stevan Curcic, a publicist, was the editor and he soon became the owner of the journal. One of the printing houses where the journal was printed was in Armenian monastery of Seidel and Mayer. The journal was dealing with the issues regarding the youth. It had a national character. The illustrations in this journal were extremely important. Moreover, there were also important appendices about Serbian towns, monuments and the population.Writers such as Jakov Ignjatovic, Mita Popovic and Milorad P. Sapcanin were contributors to the journal.
